Backup and transfer are disabled. The publisher receives no app data and cannot restore it.
Scope and contact
This policy applies to Own Pace Studio version 1.0.0, an offline preparation companion published for A.I.M. (Adults in Motion) Incorporated. Privacy questions may be sent to manager@adultsinmotionnz.com. Publisher authority and control of this contact must be confirmed before release.
Offline operation
The app does not request Android Internet permission, create an account, or connect to a server. All core content is bundled in the app.
Information not collected
We do not collect names, contact details, disability or health information, location, photos, audio, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, payment data, messages, or free-text notes.
Preset on-device choices
A user may select preset activity, pace, support, comfort, step, speak-up, and reflection cards. These choices are not attached to a name and never leave the device.
Purpose
Local choices help a person prepare, communicate a preference, and look back. They are not used for diagnosis, treatment, eligibility, attendance, behaviour scoring, case management, discipline, employment assessment, or advertising.
Storage and retention
Preset selections may remain in Android app-private storage until the user selects Start fresh, clears app storage, or uninstalls. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled.
Sharing, sale, and advertising
We do not sell or share personal data. The app contains no advertising, analytics, social, attribution, crash-reporting, or data-broker SDK.
Permissions
The app requests no dangerous permissions and does not use Internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, nearby devices, notifications, body sensors, or shared storage.
Age and audience
The app is designed for people aged 16 and over and their invited supporters. It is not directed to young children and contains no child-targeted account, social, purchase, or advertising feature.
Autonomy and supporters
Adult participants remain the primary decision-makers. A supporter should ask before assisting, accept Not now or I choose something else, and avoid treating app selections as compliance evidence.
Accessibility
The app uses large targets, plain language, icon-plus-text cues, strong contrast, and untimed interactions. It does not claim to be a certified AAC or NZSL system and should not replace an established communication method.
Health and emergency boundary
Comfort and pace cards describe non-medical preferences. The app does not diagnose, monitor, treat, prescribe, triage, or contact emergency services. Use qualified professionals and local emergency procedures when needed.
Third-party sources
The Source Shelf names public references for transparency. No third-party content is embedded as an SDK, no external login is used, and no data is sent to named sources.
Security
Keeping data local reduces transmission risk. Android app-private storage and release signing provide ordinary safeguards, but device owners should use a screen lock, install security updates, and control physical access.
Access, correction, and deletion
A user can change any preset choice and can use Start fresh. Clearing app storage or uninstalling deletes all app-held selections. There is no remote profile or server record.
New Zealand privacy rights
The Privacy Act 2020 may provide access, correction, and complaint rights depending on context. Organisational records kept outside this app are governed by the organisation's separate practices.
Policy changes
Any material change to collection, connectivity, permissions, SDKs, accounts, or purpose requires an updated app, public policy, Google Play Data safety review, and a new effective date.

Separate website surface
This support website is separate from the offline Android app. It contains no form, account, advertising, behavioural analytics, or third-party font. The hosting provider may process ordinary request and security information needed to deliver pages.
